During onboarding, you share your interests, general availability, and how big a group feels comfortable to you. SameVibe uses this, along with your general location, to start surfacing communities and activities that actually fit.
Join up to five communities
Communities are focused, interest-based groups: hiking, tech, wellness, creative circles, and more. SameVibe keeps your active circle to five at a time on purpose. It keeps your dashboard useful and your memberships meaningful, instead of a graveyard of groups you forgot you joined. Your interests change, and you can replace a community any time.
Discover activities and events
See what's coming up: activities created by other members, and local events surfaced from trusted sources. Imported events are always clearly labeled as external, with a link back to the original organizer.
Commit: RSVP, join the conversation, or create your own
Every eligible adult can create an activity right after onboarding. New accounts start with sensible limits (like a cap on concurrent listings) as a trust-and-safety measure, not a paywall. As your account builds a track record, those limits open up.

Before you show up, SameVibe shows you who's going, the general meeting area, expected group size, and anything you should bring, so there's no guesswork. Exact locations for sensitive spots stay private until it's appropriate to share them.

First connections happen in the shared group, never through an unsolicited direct message. Attend a GPS-verified event and it earns a stamp in your Vibe Passport, so your participation builds up as your local network grows.

Is SameVibe a dating app?
No. SameVibe is built around communities and group activities, not romantic matching. There's no swiping and no public people-search directory.
Who can use SameVibe?
SameVibe is for adults 18 and older. We collect date of birth at signup to check eligibility. It's not just a checkbox.
Why can I only join five communities?
It keeps your dashboard focused and your recommendations useful, instead of diluting them across dozens of groups you rarely open. You can swap a community out any time your interests shift.
What if I report someone or get blocked?
Blocking applies everywhere: communities, activities, messages, and attendance lists. Serious reports get reviewed by a real person, not just an algorithm.
