Community Guidelines

The short version

SameVibe is for adults who want to meet compatible people and do real things together. Show up the way you'd want someone to show up for you: respectful, honest about who you are, and considerate of the group.

Who can use SameVibe

You must be 18 or older. Accounts that don't meet this requirement aren't permitted access to communities, activities, or other members.

Expected behavior

  • Treat other members with respect, even in disagreement
  • Be honest in your profile and about your intentions for an activity
  • Show up to things you RSVP to, or update your status if plans change
  • Keep group activities group activities, not a disguised one-on-one invitation
  • Respect a member's decision to leave a conversation or activity

Zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for harassment, hate-based content, threats, sexual solicitation, content involving minors, illegal activity, or weapons-related solicitation. Accounts engaging in this behavior are removed, without prior notice where the situation warrants it.

Keep listings honest

Activities and communities should accurately describe what they are, who they're for, and what to expect. Misleading listings, spam, and commercial solicitation disguised as social activities aren't allowed.

Privacy of others

Don't publish someone else's exact home address, private contact information, or other personal details without their consent, whether inside or outside the app.

Reporting a violation

You can report a profile, activity, community, or message directly from within the app. Serious reports are reviewed by a real person. See our Safety & Trust page for how that process works. If you're not sure whether something crosses a line, report it anyway and let our team take a look.

Consequences

Depending on severity, violations can result in a warning, temporary restriction, or permanent removal from SameVibe. Blocking and reporting decisions apply across every part of the platform: communities, activities, messaging, and attendance lists.
